Reporting features in Friday Pulse

The reports in Friday Pulse are designed to help you analyze and act on your Happiness and Culture Profile data. Here's a guide to the key reports available on the platform and how you and your colleagues can make best use of them.

Note: Scores are only visible for any user when a group has three or more responses.

Dashboard (& Presentation)

  • The Dashboard displays the most recent results, including Happiness, Notes, team-building questions, and, when relevant, your Five Ways to Happiness at Work scores.
  • Presentation: Access the Presentation for your most recent measure via the Dashboard to guide team discussions based on your pulse results. You can also export it using the download icon for future reference. Find out more on the Presentation here..
  • Historical scores: View results for earlier measures by selecting specific dates or clicking points on the Happiness score trendline.

Access:

  • Participants: Everyone can view their personal scores, their team/s scores, and account-level (“Everyone”) scores. Notes visibility will depend on your Account-wide settings, these can be team-only or account-wide.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: Participants given specific visibility of the results of another team or group can also access those team/group scores and Notes.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can filter scores and Notes across all teams and groups.

Reports Overview

  • The Reports Overview combines Happiness score trends, response rates, and detailed Culture Profile scores.
  • View scores for the Five Ways to Happiness and all 15 Culture Profile topics.
  • Order Culture Profile scores by score, topic, or improvement (requires multiple measures; learn more).
  • Mini trendlines are displayed when you hover over scores, and clicking a score takes you to its dedicated page.

Access:

  • Participants: Everyone can view their personal scores, their team/s scores, and account-level (“Everyone”) scores.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: Participants given specific visibility of the results of another team or group can also access those team/group results.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can filter results across all teams and groups as well as Exports (see below).

Participation Report

  • The Participation Report tracks response rates and highlights trends across teams and groups.
  • Monitor and respond to teams and other groups with high or low response rates over time.
  • View response rates for your Weekly pulse. This is based on the number of responses to the Happiness questions.
  • View response rates for your Culture Profile by looking at the Quarterly response rates. This is based on the number of responses to first Culture Profile question, Team relationships. If your Culture Profile is set to be open for multiple pulse measures, your Quarterly response rate will reflect all responses during that measurement window.
  • You will also find the results for the two Onboarding questions asked to users on the Participation report.

Access:

  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can view response rates for the account and teams.

Heatmap

The Heatmap provides an overview of scores across all teams and groups, making it easy to spot trends, strengths, and areas for concern.

Access:

  • Participants: No access.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: No access.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can view scores for the account, teams and other groups.

Risk Report

  • The Risk Report uses team scores on Happiness and five of its drivers to predict three critical team risks: underperformance, high staff turnover, and burnout. These aren’t measurements of these risks themselves but rather predictions based on factors we know are closely linked to them.
  • Identify teams most likely to face challenges.
  • Supports you to focus resources where they’re needed to improve team dynamics.

Access:

  • Participants: No access.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: No access.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can view risks for teams.

Impact Report

The Impact Report uses research data and your scores to recommend where to focus time and resources for systemic action at the team and organizational level. Learn more here.

  • Participants: Everyone can view their team/s scores, and account-level (“Everyone”) results.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: Participants given specific visibility of the results of another team or group can also access those team/group results.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can filter results across all teams and groups.

Benchmark Report

The Benchmark report helps put your scores in context. Your own organizational and team scores will be the most important scores, particularly as you do more and more measures, however the Benchmark report can give you confidence when communicating about good scores, and as well as used to help you when you want to suggest areas of focus for improvement to other stakeholders.

  • Participants: No access.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: No access.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can view results for teams.

Resilience Report

The Resilience Report identifies trends in your Happiness scores by scores over time, showing teams with rising or falling scores.

Access:

  • Participants: No access.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: No access.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can view results for teams.

Offline Reports

Sometimes it’s easier to work with data offline. Friday Pulse offers several exportable reports:

  • Happiness Trends (PDF): Shows rising or falling scores alongside key Notes headlines.
  • Culture Insights / Happiness Insights (PDF): Highlights Culture Profile scores, including Heatmaps and Impact Report topics.
  • Scores Breakdown (Excel): Detailed scores and response rates over time.
  • Notes Breakdown (Excel): A complete log of Notes shared over time.

Access:

  • Participants: No access.
  • “Manager of” / “Access to”: No access.
  • Admin, Analyst, and Senior Leader users: Advanced users can export all reports.
