Useful questions to start a conversation about your Culture Profile scores

Once a quarter your team will have new data points on the drivers of happiness at work. It's useful to discuss these results together.

Ahead of a team meeting, take ten minutes as individuals to see how you are scoring across the 15 topics that make up the team's Culture Profile.

Try looking at:

  • Your high scoring topics
  • Your lower scoring topics
  • Your personal scores, team scores and organization scores to see how they compare

If you have answered more than one Culture Profile, use the "Improvement" tab on your Reports Overview if see if scores are rising, falling or staying the same. Happiness is all about holding things in balance, so it's worth checking whether some scores are going up while others are going down.

When you get together, have a few questions to hand to guide your discussion.

Exploratory mode

If you're trying to understand your Friday Pulse results and want a common understanding and to identify what you have energy for, try asking:

  • What do we notice?
  • What do we care about?
  • What do we want to focus on?

Improvement mode

If you're trying to generate ideas to improve your workplace, build from what's working and identify tangible actions to sustain and improve happiness, you could ask:

  • What's going well?
  • What can be improved?
  • How shall we make the coming weeks better?
